Ambient threshold
The illuminance value at which a lighting profile transitions between states. Thresholds are set per area and reviewed periodically.
Calibration window
A defined period during which a model is updated against observed conditions. Calibration windows are scheduled annually and published in advance of the work.
Continuous coverage
A condition in which no point within a defined area falls outside the sensing envelope of at least one active unit.
Cycle
The internal accounting period used for telemetry. Cycles are not aligned to calendar intervals.
Dwell time
The mean duration for which a person remains stationary within a monitored area. Elevated dwell times may indicate a requirement for review.
Interchange
A location at which two or more networks share infrastructure.
Junction
A location at which the network maintains one or more units. Junctions are numbered internally and are not published.
Materiality threshold
The level of impact below which an adjustment does not require notification. See Adjustment and the Threshold of Materiality.
Reconciliation
The process by which an unexpected reading is brought into agreement with the model.
Residual
The difference between a predicted value and an observed value.
